The Remains team with lab director Dr. Jessica Marie Johnson

The Slavery in Motion public event was presentation and conversation with members of Remains // An Archive Jessica Newby, Samantha Stephens, and Kevin Ah-Sen as we discussed the inspiration for the multimedia art collection with featured artists: Romaine McNeil, Tatiana Esh, Sha-Shonna Rogers, and Julia Mallory.

Introducing molia

As a prelude to our event at the BMA, the team produced a series of videos telling the story of Molia for our social media audience. The fourth and final video in the series is “Pull(ing) Foot”.
